About Grace Dorvil
Grace is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in Sport management. She is an active member of numerous clubs/organizations such as the UF Big Sister Little Sister, Gator Sport Management Org, Women in Sports Empowerment Club, and Black Students in Business.
Grace has aspirations of working in sports; she is unsure of the specific career route she wants to pursue but is exploring her options and waiting to be exposed to different areas of sports. However, she aims to be a representative for women athletes in her community and focus on the issues of systematic racism, prejudice, double standards, and inequality, with the goal of breaking barriers for women in sports. Grace also has a passion for those taking a stance for those who don’t have a voice, she wants to advocate for women, athletes who receive abuse from higher authority figures, and particularly those in low-income minority communities who aren’t able proper physical education. She aspires to shield women, athletes, and children from being underrepresented.
